Terms of Use

Members of TrafficExchangeNetwork.com Traffic Exchange agree to the following terms of agreement.

1) TrafficExchangeNetwork.com reserves the right to refuse membership or cancel membership if member is found abusing the terms. Upon termination member will lose all credits and NO REFUNDS will be provided.

2) We do not allow the following page contents: racist, illegal, warez-cracks-copyright infringement, pyramid schemes, investment surfing programs, autosurfing programs, drugs, adult content, or other material we find inappropriate. TrafficExchangeNetwork.com cannot guarantee that member sites do not contain such material. If you wouldn't want your kids looking at it, please don't display it here.

3) You may cancel your Membership at any time by clicking the [Delete account] link in member area. If you decide to cancel your membership and later wish to re-enroll, you will be assigned a new account, and you will not receive further credit for referrals made using Your previous account.

4)Targeted sites:

We DO allow ROTATORS. However, it is your responsibility to make sure the sites comply with our terms including not more than 1 popup, no adult content, no warez, no pyramid schemes, etc. If you use such a site in a rotator it is grounds for immediate termination without notice.

We DO allow targeted sites which include not more than one pop-up, pop-behind, pop-unders, or MS window-type popup message boxes (Javascript alert windows). (one total, NOT one each).

Fly-in type popups are forbidden as they disrupt the surfbar.

Automatic downloads or attempts to send email from a viewer's computer are strictly forbidden or attempting to send a file or email without the user clicking on a link or requesting to send you email. If someone visits your web site and a window pops up asking to confirm a download, it's not welcome nor a window that pops up confirming that the person actually wants to send an email unless they previously clicked yes to this option. This method makes it too easy to install unwanted programs.

We do NOT allow URL's that are promoting ways to "rack up" credits or cheat traffic exchanges. If you aren't sure, ask or face a deleted account and being banned from the traffic exchange.

We do NOT allow pages breaking out of frame and any other behavior found inappropriate or annoying.

Surflinks originating from other traffic exchanges are NOT allowed.

If you are targeting such links you are responsible for other people's websites which have no connection to TrafficExchangeNetwork.com and those users who have not accepted TrafficExchangeNetwork.com's terms.
If we find your TrafficExchangeNetwork.com's surf page targeted on any traffic exchange your account will be deleted. No porno, inappropriate pictures, illegal drug related, foul language or stuff promoting that industry. Again, if you wouldn't want your kids to view it, please don't promote it here.

DO NOT hide urls by the use of minimized iframes or other frames. People are using frames to hide disallowed material to such an extent that we are forced to completely disapprove framed pages.

We recommend users to thoroughly test their pages before submitting for approval.

If page has been disapproved by admin there is a risk our software will deny you to add the page again.

If violating terms: Worst case, your account is terminated immediately without notification, as when the user deliberately tries to harm the traffic exchange. If not so grave, like when showing too many popups etc, your "Buffer" is set to 0.

4b) Referral page credit earnings.
Member will earn 1 credit for each unique view (viewers ip-address recorded) of the referral page.

Not all page views qualify for earning credits. Heavily reducing referral page size, showing only part of page etc by the use of multiple frames, iframes etc will not be qualifying for earning credits. Traffic exchanges usually consist of a frameset with a surfbar and the target page showing in one mainframe. Of course, such framing is allowed.

By frequently scanning http referrers we are able to filter out services which do not qualify. These services include autosurf exchanges which basically doesn't require any interaction from a viewer.

Occasionally we find examples of reducing the referral page to such an extent that there is no doubt the user is cheating our traffic exchange. Account will then be terminated due to cheating.

5) Enrolling other members is strictly prohibited:
Members are not under any circumstances allowed to sign up other members. Members can refer other individuals to the website and help them through the sign up process, however the individual must complete the signup process by him/herself, including the reading and agreeing to the Membership Agreement. Furthermore, no member shall create false accounts simply for the benefit of referral rewards or to create a manufactured downline.
Any member found to be engaged in such activity will have their membership revoked and will lose all credits in all accounts created.

6) Personal information:
As a member of TrafficExchangeNetwork.com you agree to keep your personal information on file up to date and accurate at all times. You also confirm that the email address you have on file is accurate and in working order.

Member agrees not to use an autoresponder or a system that automatically replies to emails/newsletters/advertisements that are sent out to members.

Any bounces are reason for suspension. To be reinstated you must email us to let us know that your email address is in working order again. If the account remains suspended for more than 2 weeks it may be permanently deleted (unrecoverable).

Invalid email addresses will be immediately suspended. You must email us to reactivate your account. If the account is suspended for more than 2 weeks, it may be permanently deleted (unrecoverable)

TrafficExchangeNetwork will keep all personal information about you in the strictest confidence and will not divulge it to any third party unless obligated to do so by law.

7) Acceptable use of start link:
The start link (also referred to as the "surf" link) that a member receives upon signing up is to be used solely by that member and solely for the purpose of viewing other member's websites through the TrafficExchangeNetwork.com traffic exchange network to gain credits. This link is not to be used in any way that cheats the system or attempts to compromise it in any way. Furthermore, the start link is not to be promoted on other networks as a means of falsely obtaining credits. The start link is also not to be placed in any automatic clicking program or other similar program or software designed to defraud the network or falsely earn credits. Any inappropriate use of the start link (as indicated, but not limited to the above) will result in immediate termination of that member's account and all earned or purchased credits along with any remaining cash balance will be lost.

8) Removal of membership:
A member may at any time request to have his/her membership cancelled by simply submitting a support request and clearly defining the account that is to be cancelled. Alternatively, a member may have their membership revoked by TrafficExchangeNetwork.com if TrafficExchangeNetwork.com deems that member to be in violation of any of the terms as set out in the Membership Agreement. TrafficExchangeNetwork.com also reserves the right to refuse or cancel the membership of any member found to be defrauding the system in any way, or in any case where the TrafficExchangeNetwork.com feels that the member is not acting in the best interest of TrafficExchangeNetwork.com. If a member should have their membership canceled for any reason, that member will lose all traffic credits (whether earned or purchased) and will forfeit any remaining money in any of the accounts associated with that membership and possibly be banned from ever joining again.

9) Loss of data and other errors:
Members agree to not hold liable TrafficExchangeNetwork.com for any loss of data that might occur while the member is using the TrafficExchangeNetwork.com website and all services and products contained within. Loss of data includes, but is not limited to, any account balances, credits, downline members and statistics. TrafficExchangeNetwork.com agrees to make every effort within its reasonable power to ensure that such loss of data never occurs, and TrafficExchangeNetwork.com will make every effort within reason to correct any such loss of data. Members also agree to not hold liable TrafficExchangeNetwork.com for any damage that may arise to the member's computer, software, or other products while using the TrafficExchangeNetwork.com website and all services and products contained within.

10) Accounts will be deleted if not used for 180 days.

11) Only one free account for each person/url is allowed. Multiple pro/commercial accounts are allowed. Pro/Commercial accounts are not allowed to have an additional free account.

12) SPAM: TrafficExchangeNetwork.com does NOT condone the use of UCE (unsolicited commercial email) and spam. Members are strictly prohibited from using spam in their marketing efforts. Members found using spam to promote the site shall be immediately terminated and banned from joining again. This is STRICTLY enforced.

13) TrafficExchangeNetwork.com reserves the right to modify hit ratios and bonus points as necessary for smooth operation of the traffic exchange without notice.

This Agreement may be modified by TrafficExchangeNetwork.com from time to time, with or without notice.

Purpose of these measures are to maintain the integrity of the advertising members. Members agree to be bound by these terms.

Privacy Policy
At TrafficExchangeNetwork.com, we respect your right to privacy. We will NEVER sell or rent your name, e-mail address, physical address and any other identifying information that you give us with any third party. By signing up for our FREE service, you agree to receive e-mails from our company or our sponsors. You may remove yourself from these mailings at any time by deleting your account.

If you pay for extra credits, banner advertising or anything else, your private information will be encrypted and sent securely over a SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) connection via facilities of a leading credit card processing company - PAYPAL.
